Allow the Grandmother Energy to be Present with You NOW

So fast forward to another signpost.  Without my preplanning for it, I was awakened to the energy of the grandmother.  Vikki’s voice comes to me as I type this.  She talks about when we have experiences that we react to, our little girl is asking for something. She puts her hand on her heart and speaks out loud, “Sweetheart, what do you need from me?” When we sit quietly and meditate, we listen for the answer to come from within. It is a knowing. It comes from the energy of the little girl when we evoke it. We ask, and it responds instantly. We may hear or sense, “I need to be heard.  I need to be loved.  I need to be held.”  If we can give that to ourself, then we are giving that to our inner child.  We, as our current self, can offer loving compassion in asking the question AND in consciously offering the compassion to our little girl through the emotion of Love itself.  We co-exist in that NOW moment. Time is irrelevant. That is when the energy of the grandmother showed up for me. It was as if I in the now moment was the younger version and she in the future co-existed.  She was the loving compassionate one, holding me and asking me, “Sweetheart, what do you need?”.  Somehow I believed that the now moment was the end of the movie.  There is a lot of fear when I believe this might be the end of the movie.  Also it leads me to fear how I will write the rest of the movie - as if every decision needs to be worried over.  When I realize the movie is already done, then I can relax and enjoy my role that I am playing.  The ending has already been written and acted. I am on the exact path that I am supposed to be on.

There is absolutely nothing I can do wrong at this point, because the movie is already done. I just get to play my role.  

The grandmother energy, for me, is way more compassionate that I am in my now moment. She is ME in my future:

• warm like the sunlight

• yet cool to the touch

• has a mischievous twinkle in her eye - not unlike my younger self

• free of the worry about what others think about her or say about her

• able to just sit and BE without needing validation

• wise yet doesn’t share wisdom unless she is asked to do so. 

• doesn’t presume anything

• lives more IN the Moment - also not unlike my younger self

• enjoys napping and reading and gardening and playing with babies

• and she smells like a mixture of amazing home cooked food, cherry almond lotion, and fresh air.

When agitated, I can pause and ask my inner child what she needs and I offer it to her. But I can also pause and talk to my grandmother energy.  For clarification, she is not my grandmother. She is me as a grandmother, an inner grandmother, an elder energy (with or without grandchildren), ancient wisdom, future self, higher dimension, all that!  Importantly, she does not exist in the future. She is as here now as I am. She is as here now as my little girl is. We are all here and every aspect of myself that ever existed is here now.  I was just not aware of that until recently. This is part of the great awakening.  

Sharing Wisdom

When I pause and talk to what I call the grandmother energy, she has already participated in the whole movie.  She can offer her love and wisdom as having participated in everything, lived through everything, and has the perspective of all of that. When in doubt and afraid, “Grandmother, please help me. I am afraid. I know that you know the path. Please help me find peace.” Then she speaks back to me, “Sweetheart. I am here. What do you need? I offer you peace.  It is here for you in great abundance.” Then I can feel the peace from within.  Just like watching a small child learn to walk, we do not tell them they are doing anything wrong when they fall and stumble. It takes practice and many failures, but we know they are on the right path and have to experience that. It is with love we can witness it. Well, our grandmother energy is watching us learn to walk and stumble and she is loving us. She knows we are on the path. We cannot get to her, sitting in her great chair, unless we pass through this now moment. It is all part of the path. It is filled with mistakes and joy and all that is.  It is already done.  And so it is. It is done.
