Dark Night of the Soul

Some of y’all are in the thick of the dark night of the soul. I mean it!

Because the way the conscious, subconscious, unconscious minds all work, we don’t see it coming, we are clueless when we are in it, feel like shit crawling out of it.
And guess what, sweetheart?
There are those of us who are compassionate witnesses and
are observing the whole thing.
But because we have respect for your journey, we will not prevent it from happening.
Nor will we interrupt or interfere in the middle.
We won’t SAVE you nor desire to.
We can guide you gently along the path and you may avoid it or temporarily delay the dark night of the soul, but you HAVE TO BE ABLE TO ASK FOR HELP.
I know you don’t hear me. You have to ASK . FOR . HELP.
Even if you are dragged through the cosmic meat grinder (thank you Bruce for that imagery and phrase), you still may be so selfish as to think that you can go it alone.
You feel a little better after the wreckage of your season of depression, destroying relationships, burning down jobs … and that same mind tells you that you are fixed, fine, everyone else was wrong and you quit doing the work.
It is such a common pattern.
It is clear that if you are in the dark night of the soul, you are at the lowest probability of either seeing this post or reading this far.
It will not be in your reality.
If you read it (haha such a low probability)…
The words, tone and topic will piss you off.
I will represent the enemy and you will cancel me, post inflammatory replies, gossip about my insensitivity, make me the poster child of the problem.
I cease fighting.
I am not fighting for you or against you.
I cease fighting your nastiness, hatred, disrespect, and lies.
Because I SEE you.
I HEAR you.
The only one of the two of us willing to listen and see and feel is ME.
And because of the nature of this freaking inverted reality, you cannot hear me or see me in my true essence until you …
Walk through this dark night and then do the work.
And you can’t do it alone.
Ain’t that some shit?
Ginnie of Love 💕
